Year 2020 would probably be written with the pen of notable history in the mind of those that would survive it. It has really been looming since the beginning of the year without a glimpse of what 2020 entails last year.  Before the year began, it was well appraised and overemphasized the fruity surface therein to harvest; every soul had a thorough revisitation and revision of annual plans owing to the luminosity of the New Year in view as a response to how promising it could ever be. Little did we notice the rusty lumps behind the levelled and polished surface. We trooped in as we are used to. After the happiness and merriment of the crossover, it was just a night spent in the new year, January 2, a third state of emergency was called in New South Wales, Australia as bushfire threatened the south coast of the country. Same day, Iranian General Qasem Soleimani was killed in US drone strike which caused the impending World War III for a while. On January 26, Kobe and Gigi Bryant along with seven other passengers died in a helicopter crash in California. This caused a worldwide grief. Amidst other happenings COVID-19 has been the subject of discussion as it has been ubiquitous in its quest for ravaging all continents. As a typical chronological record would have and make it known soonest, a history of the recent past pandemic; SARs-COV-2 or COVID-19 during the year 2019 and 2020 or more. The pandemic was not the first in human existence and probably would not be the last of it. The crucial question to ask is, why pandemic? Okay! Scientists over the last few years or recently three to four centuries ago have made awesome measures into the medical record of so many diseases and also getting the preventive and curative measures that mitigate the havoc they would have caused, without proper health status other areas of life are already in jeopardy. They have insightfully and painstakingly using the laboratory experiment and clinical control methods to produce vaccines that would oversee the body immune system for configuration before the infestation of any pathogen. This is really interesting as there is no valid record of all the diseases present in the universe, so it is of onus nature has to have its way thereby unveiling unrecorded diseases out of their reservoir. This is called an Outbreak and it could take any form. First, it comes as an endemic owing to the fact of its confinement to a locality, then it builds up and becomes epidemic, after so much ubiquitous ravaging it becomes a pandemic

As a young adult during this tensed pandemic, it occurred to me that many a child does not actually seem to feel the effective tension of what pandemic is and how it could have affected their life in so many ways including education and achievement of goal until a period like this comes overboard. In 1918, about a hundred and two years ago, the earth felt the most terrorizing disease ever, Spanish Flu, which lasted for about 26 months wiping out over 50 million people worldwide and infecting about 500 million people – one third population of the world as at that time – seems fading away in the heart of men until this recent year. After this COVID-19, as it was, the habit of adapting to the situation and not giving a fuck about the past tensions would probably be trailed by those not witnessing it now – Post COVID-19 born – if not all but a larger part of things we have concerns for as regards to COVID-19 or things that are land marks in this era of human existence might probably be confined to the study of history relating to year 2020 or medical, it could also be used for research purposes and for the inquisitive minds that want to know about some of the amusement things the world has ever experienced in the health sector in sequential details. The upsurge of another pandemic is not also ruled out of reasons as we can really observe right now, young adults that might not be bred by those who witnessed the Spanish Flu in 1918 have interest in making research about the past and learning how past pandemics were resolved, it all boils down to educating oneself about the past to deal with what you have at present and besides procuring some proactive measures against any future disease outbreak so that it does not cling up to becoming a pandemic like this. 

China is one of the renowned countries of the world known for her immense contribution in developing the world technology, technically and medically making great wave also. Its enormous population is a subject to relate with how the country has grown in many aspects of human wants. Does it look as if post COVID-19 born would see the country as one that could not handle and contain the virus when it was identified? This question is objected to the subconscious mind of those that might think of it. Sometimes it is not always about airing view, the fact needs to be set aright. COVID-19 is known to have nullified some scientific information as at present. It has created another dimension to how the world looks at how deadly a virus could be. It has rendered so many medical drugs ineffective and inefficient and its mode of being an autoimmune disease is still not fully certain (owing to the fact at present) as well as its silent mode of transmission. In few years from now, probably before post COVID-19 born would hand on adolescence, the world would have adapted so well with COVID-19 and people might not be really worried about contracting COVID-19 as there would have been curative measures and useful vaccines against it. Taking another pace about the subject in discussion, it is known or may I say registered in the heart of human the relationship of China and some pathogen carriers which later birth so much disease known but one ought to know that an outbreak could originate from anywhere, who knows if it is their culture they must carry out?. Whatever they might think of the country, China, it could also affect their relationship with the country. It could be the set back of so many post COVID-19 born that might initially have interest in visiting China for one or two things. 

Owing to the tentative rate of recovery of COVID-19 patients worldwide, the health sector would probably be given accolades by post COVID-19 born for saving the world during this era of extremities. The COVID-19 is new and studies have not been fully carried out to ascertain everything about this virus yet, the health professional chose to stand by the Oath of Hippocrates even as their life gets lost, may the souls of those that died in the course of giving health care to COVID-19 patients rest in peace, they are the real heroes. Health professionals are at the frontline of COVID-19 response, this is worth appraising. Children who would be given birth to in this era and those that would be given to by those who were once COVID-19 patients would be very thankful to the health professionals for their awesome work. This could also bring the interest of post COVID-19 born into the medical field.

Should someone bring up the conspiracy theory between COVID-19 and 5G network in the nearest future? Yeah! Since 2019, it’s been impending that China is planning on taking the world beyond limit by developing the fifth Generation network. Recently, the 5G network was switched on in some countries amidst the coronavirus pandemic. Upcoming children might find their heart sunk into what to believe about this conspiracy between a human transmittable virus and a technological development.

Without further ado, post COVID-19 born is opened to a wide range of views about this year 2020 base on what it has imposed on humanity which might not be forgotten forever. There has also been cases of some other viruses that seemed halting a long while coming forth again in some part of the world in the same year 2020, the like of Ebola virus, Lassa Fever, Hantavirus and so on.
